About us
Since it's inception in 2016, Bridging Youth through Soccer Academy, located in Plumtree, Zimbabwe continues to provide resources/equipment (balls, kits, boots, coaching, academic & lifestyle mentorship) to the less-privileged in an effort to make their athletic and academic dreams come true. Plumtree's youth soccer talent has been outstanding for decades, but young players have struggled to find platforms to showcase their skills and connect with international colleges and professional teams outside Zim. The program also helps players adapt to core values that will influence them to make better decisions - staying away from drugs and alcohol.
MISSION
BYS Academy’s mission is to identify soccer talent in underprivileged communities and help young players reach their maximum potential on and off the field. To fulfill this mission, the Academy partners with international and local organizations to facilitate growth, emancipate, and empower youths in underprivileged areas
VISION
BYS aims to identify, nurture, and manage Africa’s youth soccer talent by ensuring that all Africans get equal opportunities in regards to training and scouting exposure. The Academy intends to set the benchmark for youth football administration standards in Africa's diverse countries.
